Analyst/Senior Analyst - Corporate Controller/Legal Entity Controller - Private Equity Firm

Our client a leading and giant private equity firm is looking for Corporate Controller/ Legal entity controller- Analyst/ Senior Analyst (3 to 8 years of post-qualification experience)

Location: Mumbai

Key responsibilities :

1. Maintaining books of records for transactions, working closely with treasury, funds to obtain details and document each transaction

2. Liason with investment, admin, legal teams to ensure all funds' expense are accurately accounted for

3. Timely preparation and accurate reporting for the private funds team

4. Compiling and calculating private fund management fees and invoicing

5. Assist with monthly/ quarterly reporting and the consolidated results of the company's operations

6. Prepare regular sales tax filings as well as annual tax financials

7. Management reporting, conducting analysis for business decision making

Ideal candidate:

1. Qualified CA/ CPA (preferably first attempt) with atleast 2 years of relevant experience in corporate controllership/ legal entity control roles

2. Strong communication skills, with excellent command over English both spoken and written

3.Prior experience of working for a PE/ VC firm/asset management, Big 4 serving PE/ VC clients, MNC in a corporate accounting role

4. Experience of reporting under US GAAP/ IFRS

5. Prior experience of Dynamics 365 is preferred but not mandatory
