Analyst/Senior Analyst/Assistant Manager - UK Corporate Tax - CA - Financial Services Group

The client is a Asia-headquartered global financial services group with offices across over 30 countries. It has four business divisions: Retail, Asset Management, Wholesale (Global Markets and Investment Banking), and Merchant Banking. Also provides capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support

Designation: Analyst / Sr Analyst / Assistant Manager

Role: UK Corporate Tax

Experience: 1-6 years of relevant experience

Education: CA Mandatory

Note: Though the role if for UK Corporate Tax, we are open to looking at candidates with strong experience in Indian Corporate Tax.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Preparation/review of EMEA entities corporation tax & indirect tax computations & returns

- Technical research in relation to various tax matters

- Reviewing any new tax legislation that may impact the relevant entities (e.g. new branch rules, CFC rules)

- Liaising with and preparation of responses to Audit correspondence\issues.

- Quarter end / year end tax reporting

- Liaising with contacts in Financial Accounting

- Close liaison with country managers to ensure that all matters known by the tax department have been provisioned for appropriately

- Quarterly FIN48 reporting on tax provisions

- Further development and improvement of existing processes and internal controls for monitoring compliance for the tax accounting and tax compliance functions
