Job Description :  Employer : An International Bank  Location : Bangalore  Employment Type : Permanent  Designation : Analyst  Domain : Risk Analytics  Experience : 1- 3 years of work experience into risk analytics   Salary : As per the Standards  Job Description :  As an Analyst in the Portfolio Analysis & Methodology Team, you will, through close collaboration with colleagues working alongside you in Bangalore and working remotely in London, assist with analysis and reporting on the portfolio, you will also take joint responsibility for the operation of the analytics platform.  Activities will center on the credit risk composition of the book, the drivers of credit risk and the return component of the global portfolio. Analysis will based on sector, country and client perspectives of the portfolio and how these perspectives evolve through time. You will also contribute to the development, implementation and reporting of stress test concepts.  You will be involved in project teams working on expanding various aspects of the analytics platform, specifically the Management Information aspects of it. This could include developing and documenting methodologies and specifications, overseeing activities of supporting IT departments responsible for implementation, developing and implementing testing concepts, and updating user documentation or providing training and support.  Participate in the expansion of the Management Information platform to add more reporting functionality and enhance the features of the platform.   The roles objectives are in detail are :   - Analytics Systems Development and Administration   - Work in a team to analyze the risk and return of the credit portfolio   - Contribute on the development and delivery of innovative management information / reports   - Contribute towards the continuing development of the analytics platform through project work   - Help design and conduct regular stress and scenario tests of the credit portfolio   - Through portfolio analysis, contribute to recommendations to enhance the portfolio risk/return   Skills/Experience Required :   To be successful in this position, the holder must be able to demonstrate the following hard competencies:  - Familiarity with portfolio modeling concepts or risk adjusted profitability measures  - Experience with large data set using SAS and Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access)  - Experience with data modeling, data mining, OLAP techniques, Cognos  - Understanding of bank credit risk processes, ideally also including work-out processes  - Understanding of the economic capital allocation processes within banks  - Understanding of accounting principles, especially fair valuation, general and specific loan loss provisions  - Ability to develop an understanding of bank risk processes and work with risk management functions  Educational Qualification : Graduate/Post Graduate in numerate discipline  Ashu Rajpoot 9873179522
