Analyst - Risk Analytics

- Candidate will be required to work with New York and London Equity Risk and Portfolio Margin teams on testing / validating margin calculators in various Risk applications

- Expected to understand the margin calculations and provide detailed analysis of gaps / failings in the applications and their interfaces with other systems

- Work closely and co-ordinate with IT teams in testing existing functionality to ensure ongoing performance of Prime Margin & Risk infrastructure

- Work closely with risk and margin team on testing new functionality

- Following up with IT team to resolve any risk and margin issues.

- Should be able to write SQL queries to get data from the database

- Engineering/MBA Graduate required

- Project Management experience with strong co-ordination skills to manage multiple tasks

- Good SQL skills – Should be able to perform database queries.

- Should be able to create test cases to validate system calculations

- Eye for Detail

- Strong communication skills both written and oral

- Understanding of risk and margin in capital markets ( Product Knowledge)

- Analytical Skills

- Aptitude for self learning – Should be able to demonstrate a self starting attitude

- Proactive in nature
