Research Analyst

Research Analyst at Arthur D. Little Middle East India office based in Gurugram.

As a Research Analyst you will be part of ADL MEI's research team. Some of the sectors that we cover include Automotive & Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, Financial Services, Healthcare and technology and Innovation Management. You will provide research and insights to our Practice Managers, Partners and Principals working on projects, proposals and other IC development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Research and Analysis : Conduct in-depth Secondary research on industry trends, market dynamics, competition, and client-specific issues. Collect and analyze data using various sources, such as databases, surveys, interviews, and online resources.

- Market Intelligence : Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to provide clients with strategic insights.

- Problem Solving : Collaborate with consultants and project teams to identify and address business challenges. Develop hypotheses and propose solutions based on research findings.

- Client Interaction : Build and maintain relationships with clients (which in this case will be ADL consultants), understand their needs, and provide expert insights and recommendations. Engage in regular communication to update clients on project progress.

- Quality Assurance : Review and validate data and analysis to ensure the highest level of accuracy and integrity. Implement quality control processes to minimize errors.

Skills Required :

- Experienced in managing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research tasks.

- Proficiency in data analysis and the use of tools like MS Excel, Power-point.

- Industry Knowledge : A deep understanding of the industry or sectors relevant to the consulting firm's focus.

- Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey research findings and insights clearly and concisely and the ability to create engaging and informative reports and presentations.

- Teamwork : Collaboration and teamwork skills are essential when working with consultants and project teams.

- Proficiency in utilizing and managing databases like CapitalIQ, Factiva, EMIS Refinitiv EIKON etc.

- Strong business acumen and financial knowledge

Qualifications ;

- A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, economics, finance, market research), strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
