Analyst - Rates/Credit/FX/Fixed Income

Markets Electronic Trading is to drive the transformation from voice to electronic trading within the Fixed Income Rates, Credit, FX, Commodities, Listed Derivatives and Emerging Markets businesses.

Responsibilities:

- Collect, understand and communicate the business requirements for the various MET Data & Client Analytics projects. This is primarily targeted towards the flow e Business –within FIC.

- Working with all stakeholders, you will work on RAD development as well as producing report for the desk/ gathering requirements.

- You should have strong technical background.

- Must be able to assess the current solution, and understand its flaws and you should use this knowledge to ensure that similar issues are avoided in the future.

- You will apply proven communication, analytical and problem solving skills to help support the development process and to ensure that project deliverables are met according to specifications.

Skills:

Essential Business Skills

- Strong understanding of the Rates, Credit and FX products is essential

Preferable Business Skills

- Understanding of the front-to-back life cycle of a product from pre-trade credit checks, to trading, booking & settlement, risk management, compliance reporting, etc…

Essential Technical Skills

- Ability to understand technology architecture, especially for data, order management and trade execution systems.

- Knowledge of Data terminology (relational vs. Columnar vs. No SQL) and design

- A good mathematical/quantitative background

- Good presentation skillset: Power Point, Excel, Word
