Analyst - Private Equity Firm - CA/CFA/IIT/IIM/ISB

A domestic PE fund based out of Mumbai is looking to hire an Analyst.

Candidate will be responsible for:

- Building and refining complex financial models for valuation requirements

- Analysis and interpretation of financial statements; ability to then convey conclusions and insights clearly

- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis for a range of strategic M&A initiatives

- Work with Executives and Investment team, deal team and business unit colleagues cross functionally on a regular basis

- Oversee / maintain deal pipeline, track market M&A activity, collate internal updates, create deal presentations for board and C-level executives

Successful candidate would have 2-4 years of experience working in equity research or investment banking covering global markets, predominantly US markets. Overseas exposure, specifically in US, will be preferred.

Candidate must have :

- Strong financial modelling skills

- Top tier academic background (IIT/IIM/ISB/CA/CFA)

- Strong written and verbal skills and attention to detail

- Advanced MS Excel / PowerPoint skills
