Our client, an MNC FMCG Company is looking for the following: Position Title: Analyst Market Insights (on 1 year renewable contract basis) Location: Mumbai Job Responsibilities: Providing analytic support the wider Asia Pacific affiliates outside of India, primarily, the Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam as well as the Area HQ in Singapore in the following areas: (a) regular reporting needs in Excel / PowerPoint on monthly basis as well as during the quarterly business cycle; as well as (b) ad-hoc analytic support for business reviews purposes and Brand Planning needs. The above will entail provision of the following depending on business needs: 1. Build and maintain different data masters from various sources 2. Construct analytical models to forecast sales 3. Building periodic dashboards and reports: primarily on Excel or Power BI 4. Support the country teams in analytic projects (e.g. Marketing Mix Modeling, Price Elasticity Studies, etc) in terms of project management including data collection, validation and engage with the agency to ensure successful completion of projects on time & on budget 5. Analyze Data to Draw Both Qualitative and Quantitative Conclusions and convert findings into reports The above will require the individual to - Interact with external market research agencies to understand their data sets and harmonize it with internal data sets for better business comprehension. - Interact with Market Insights Team in Area office as well as affiliates to understand analytic needs Experience &amp; Qualifications: - MBA with Bachelor or Master in Statistics/Mathematics/ Econometrics/ Economics - 3-4 years in Analytics and MIS profile - Should have worked in a FMCG or Market Research or Analytics firm - Understand external retail audit / sales related data sources such as Nielsen, IQVIA etc. Key Skills required: - Advance excel and should be well versed with proficient in using the functions like VlookUp, Match, Index and statistical functions - Should be comfortable in conditional formatting in excel along with good command over Pivot tables and charts (including options like slicer). - Ability to write macros on VB and Access - Advanced Power point skills (including add-ons like Think-cell) - Should have worked on various time-series forecasting techniques, regression and price-sensitivity analysis. - Experience in working with Power BI / Tableau preferred - Experience in working with languages like SQL, Python and R preferred
