Analyst/Junior Associate - Structured Transactions - Fixed Income

Responsibilities:

- Daily processing of the Bonds, Treasury and funding transactions in the office.

- Play active role in processing of various structured transactions in the Mumbai office in Fixed Income space

- Close interactions with experts from various different teams and regions including sales/trading, Technology and Compliance to resolve outstanding issues. This role will involve a large amount of coordination across various teams in Bangalore, HK and Singapore.

- Establish, manage and own close relationships and partnerships with business partners, external clients and regional stakeholders, and act as an escalation point of contact where necessary.

- Taking ownership of processes and controls within the team, driving the development of methods to improve processes and / or controls to ensure that these are efficient, effective and relevant.

- Acquiring an understanding of fixed income products in the India market as well as a broad knowledge of Firm processes and systems and their impact on other downstream processes and systems

- Responding promptly to client and counter party inquiries, committing to deliverable as well as undertaking extensive ad hoc investigation and analysis, where appropriate

Skills:

Ideal candidate should have 2-5 years relevant Operations background, ideally with bond markets experience.

Prior working experience within Financial Services with exposure to OTC derivatives.
