Analyst - Investment Banking

Job Purpose:

- Responsible for providing all research and analysis related support required in business development, deal execution and other non-deal research

Roles & Responsibility:

- The incumbent will be part of the team managing Business Transactions in a specified vertical. The major responsibilities will be as follows:

Provide support for deal execution

- Provide presales support by assisting in preparation of effective and customized pitches

- Collateral preparation & facilitation of Buyer and Seller interactions (Organizing road shows, Conference calls etc.)

- Effectively coordinate the process of due-diligence and relevant documentation to ensure efficient closure of deals.Preparation of pitch book

- To independently handle Outreach of deals, including cold calling and organizing calls with the senior members of the team. (Buy Side and Sell Side)

Client management:

- To ensure ‘High’ client satisfaction level post deal closure

- To assist in managing all deal related aspects that are critical to final outcome.

- To represent the client’s business in the Buyer - Seller Interactions

Ideation:

- Should posses ability to generate and nurture new deal ideas

Sector Coverage:

- To develop sector capsule on the sectors covered by the vertical

- Keep track of emerging market trends

Practice Development Support:

- Supporting practice level initiatives for lead generation, capability development and brand building (Organizing or Participating in Events, Marketing Programs, etc.)

Qualification: BE from IITs, REC / NIT- Premier Institutes

Skills & Experience:

- Minimum one year of experience in Investment banking / Private Equity.

- Good deal closure experience and proven ability to execute transactions in their respective coverage area.

- Excellent Logical and Quantitative Skills

- Strong understanding of the domain in focus
