Knowledge/ Experience required :
- 3-4 years experience in HR Operations, with exposure to supporting India and other APAC countries, such as Australia and Singapore
- Must be open to work early shifts of 5am - 2pm, 6am- 3pm or normal shifts like 9am- 6pm, 11am - 8pm.
- Relevant experience of employee database management
- Broad knowledge of HR concepts, processes and their inter dependencies
- Hands-on experience of managing India payroll inputs, Provident Fund and related compliance
Key responsibilities include :
- Provide support for employee life cycle events, including on boarding, internal transfers, employment changes, termination etc.
- Manage and respond to all HR general inquiries around HR policies, employee benefits, HR systems etc.
- Act as first point of contact on global Talent initiatives including performance review process, talent process, Tuition Assistance Program etc.
- Responsible for maintenance of employee files and employee records in the HR system (Oracle)
- Liaison with Payroll Team, working with the Payroll Team to ensure appropriate payment/deductions are reflected in employees- payroll
- Handle administration of employee benefit programs such as leave administration, group insurance plan employee enrolments, provident fund enrolments, etc.
- Monitor probation process and reach out to managers to confirm probation
- Coordinate with immigration vendor to ensure all immigration requirements are met for employees to take up employment including monitoring the visa application process and ensuring employment visas are renewed prior to expiry date
- Produce documentation for employee transactions as required
- Interact will all levels of employees in different office locations including Hong Kong, Taipei, Seoul, Beijing, Melbourne, Sydney and other locations, if applicable
- Process invoices
- Must be flexible to perform other duties assigned
