Analyst - Fixed Income Rate Strategy

Role and Responsibility

- Will be apart of the global Rate Strategy team, based in Mumbai.

- Will be responsible for helping to provide insightful research .

- The position supports senior strategists to advise clients on all aspects of investing in rates instruments.

- The team covers all rates markets, including EGBs, gilts, volatility, inflation, SSA, and covered bonds. There is also a strong emphasis on relative value, supply and technical analysis.

- The key responsibilities include analysis and collection of data for weekly publications and thematic research reports. The individual will help in the creation and maintenance of databases for bond supply and demand, macro-economic data etc. and work on analyzing big data sets for identifying emerging themes and investment strategies. The role involves presenting and summarizing data, insights or relevant literature in a structured and concise manner.

- Will also help to prepare reports/presentations for external clients, respond to internal sales force/trader inquiries, and help with ad hoc client requests, often to deadlines.

- Will help to write auction previews for European government bond markets.
