Analyst Finance (Asset Management)
As a designated professional, you will assume responsibility for the entire financial operational cycle of a prominent entity in the asset management sector based in Mumbai, encompassing a group of companies. This influential position entails substantial collaboration with diverse departments, including private funds, treasury, tax, and finance teams across global locations.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure the meticulous upkeep of accurate records for all transactions involving the Canadian asset manager; collaborate closely with the treasury team to gain and document a comprehensive understanding of each transaction.
- Execute and scrutinize routine bank and account reconciliations to guarantee precision and identify any disparities.
- Oversee and review intercompany reconciliations spanning business groups and regional entities.
- Provide support for quarterly reporting and consolidate results for the asset management operations.
- Assist in crafting various analyses and reports for senior management, facilitating informed business decision-making.
- Compute and compile fees related to private fund management.
- Maintain meticulously organized policies and procedure documents.
- Identify and implement enhancements to processes, aiming to optimize efficiency and accuracy in bookkeeping and financial reporting.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
- 2-5 years of Experience.
- Possession of a chartered accountant designation with two to five years of experience in corporate accounting or audit firms, preferably within the financial services or asset management domain.
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a dynamic, intricate, fast-paced environment, showcasing adaptability to manage evolving priorities and deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptionally keen attention to detail.
- Robust organizational skills with the capability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
