- We are currently recruiting for an experienced individual to join our growing responsible investment team. The purpose of the role is to reinforce the ESG (environmental, social, governance) and financial analysis capacities of the team.

Role description :

Summary of the area :

- We are currently recruiting an experienced individual to join our ESG team within global equity research department.

The role includes, but isn't limited to :

- The analysis of global companies on environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance and the management of their respective ESG risks and opportunities.

- Input to the publication of impact-full ESG research for institutional investor clients, including industry trends, competitive landscape and identification of how environmental, social and environmental issues and themes can impact on performance

- Supporting and developing tools for the effective integration of ESG analysis into our stock selection and valuation process.

- Supporting the annual update of carbon rating of the MSCI World (~1600 stocks)

Person Experience :

- The successful candidate will have strong and proven experience in ESG analysis of companies and/or investment research.

- Minimum 3-4 years working in ESG related fields

Person Attributes :

- Strong interest in ESG issues

- Good self-management, takes initiative, enjoys collaboration

Required skills :

- Advanced excel, strong analytical and excellent writing skills

Desirable skills :

- Good understanding of capital markets and the investment research industry

- Experience of working in financial services

- Capabilities in financial company analysis

- Experience of working with ESG and financial data providers (e.g. Bloomberg)
