Analyst - Equity Research - BFSI Domain

Job Description :

- Working on Financial Models; updating historical numbers, building financial projections and carrying out valuation using appropriate methodology.

- Preparing/publishing detail research reports on sector/stock

- Periodic updates on financial results/any developments that impact the stock or sector under coverage

- Interaction with Institutional buy-side clients/funds

- Organising management meetings, channel check visits, road shows & investor conferences

- Composing thematic/sectoral research pieces

- Research recognition/appreciation by clients and/or external agencies like AsiaMoney

Key requirements:

- 3-4 year experience in covering Indian companies, in non-financial sectors (could have covered financial stocks as well).

- Proficiency in financial analysis, modelling, report writing and valuation tools. Must be able to write reports on his own.

- Excellent Communication (both oral & written) and interpersonal skills.

- An avid reader.

- Some knowledge of Bloomberg. Understanding of Excel Macros would be an added advantage

- Some experience of interacting with clients desirable

- Should be capable of and willing to cover stocks from multiple sectors

- Should be willing to take initiative and work in an entrepreneurial fashion.

Education Qualification : CA / MBA/ CFA (US) would be an added advantage.
