Job Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President for Direct Deals to join our client into the Investment Banking/Private Wealth space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the advisory management of our direct deal offering, with a focus on business development and relationship management. This role requires a deep understanding of the investment banking and private wealth management industry, and advisory experience working with direct deals.

Education Qualification : Must be a Chartered Accountant with Invest Banking Ground and a minimum of 3 years of Experience in the domain with sound stability and in firms of Repute

Experience : Minimum 3-4 years of experience in product management, with a focus on direct deals in the investment banking/private wealth management industry.

Preferred Certification : Additionally qualifications CFA, CIBP, FMVA, Series 79

Key Role & Responsibilities :

- Ensure the product management for direct deals, including deal origination, execution, and post-closing activities.

- Work closely with the Markets team members, RMs, Team Heads, and Business Heads for marketing recommended deals and resolving deal issues.

- Conduct screening of direct deal opportunities across various sectors, due diligence of short-listed deals, and onboarding.

- Ongoing tracking of recommended and prospective deals, meetings with clients and other stakeholders, publishing deal collaterals and updates, supporting RMs in increasing deal penetration across focus areas, conducting training for RMs, ongoing tracking of business, working closely with back-office for process aspects, transaction processing, and MIS.

- Work closely with Legal/Compliance/Operations for process/documentation related aspects and any regulatory requirements.

- Use data to find hidden patterns and understand user behavior to improve the deal offering.

- Prepare short-term and long-term roadmaps of the deals/features and define KPIs and set benchmarks to measure the performance of the product.

- Develop and execute the product strategy, identifying market opportunities and evaluating the competitive landscape.

- Manage the product lifecycle, including design, development, launch, and ongoing management.

- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and execution.

- Develop pricing and packaging strategies to maximize the product's revenue potential.

- Provide thought leadership and stay current with market trends.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.

- 10 to 15 years of experience in product management, with a focus on direct deals in the investment banking/private wealth management industry.

- Strong understanding of the investment banking and private wealth management industry and regulatory requirements.

- Experience in deal origination, execution, and post-closing activities, with a focus on relationship management and customer satisfaction.

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to identify market trends and develop product strategies.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
