Analyst - Data Management/Information Management - BFSI

Principal Accountabilities

Building data infrastructure and analytics engine to support global business priorities across priority markets.

Accountability for delivery against prescribed targets, programme, project budget and resourcing in collaboration with onshore Business partners under guidance and supervision of GAC process lead (AVP):

Develop and maintain management information systems as per requirement from business.

Customers - Internal/ External

Understand business requirement and analyze historic data to provide valuable insight pertaining to the requirement, which should help the business to take right decision.

Able to adhere to the governance framework

Continuously monitor, track, analyze the implemented strategies to measure impact and also to help improve the process

Pro-actively identify, propose and implement best practices of different regions to ensure business is taking the right decision towards achieving strategic goals.

Work on converting key information management solutions to make those generic and re-deployable across regions / counties for easy implementation.

Partner with business stakeholders in understanding key information management strategies and the applicability.

Leadership Team & Work

To participate in company events, CSR activities and competitions.

To attend workshops and development programs as instructed by the line manager.

Develop and maintain relationships and work well with all analysts and onshore partners.

Education & Other Relevant qualifications

2+ years of proven data management/information management experience or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of financial services preferred.

Familiarity with analytic systems with basic SQL skills. Strong Microsoft suite skills. Strong SAS knowledge.

Eye for detail, flair to improve data quality & process re-engineering

Should have an analytical mindset with a good understanding of language, syntax and SAS coding logic.

Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.

Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in an innovative environment.

Master's degree in Economics, Computers, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research or any other relevant technical / numerical disciplines

Demonstrated high energy level, flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Awareness about the new technologies related to Data Management & Data Mining
