Analyst - Costing

Responsibilities Include:

Tasks and responsibilities of the position:

- Standard Cost Management: Develop, maintain, and continuously improve standard cost models to ensure accuracy and efficiency in cost calculations across diverse manufacturing operations. (Global)

- Perform adequate testing and report & analyze results during Actual Costing Implementation project (Global)

- Actual Cost Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of actual costs, investigating discrepancies and variances to provide actionable insights for cost optimization strategies. (Global)

- Variance Analysis: Conduct thorough variance analysis, highlighting key drivers and collaborating with stakeholders to implement corrective actions where needed. (Global)

- Query Resolution & Discrepancy Management: Manage and resolve cost-related queries, variances between Standard & Actual and other discrepancies promptly, ensuring accurate financial reporting. (Global)

- Multi-Plant Coordination: Coordinate with teams across multiple plants to gather data, harmonize cost accounting practices, and streamline reporting processes. (Global)

- Collaboration & Engagement: Work closely with business, commercial, and product managers, providing valuable cost insights and fostering collaborative decision-making. (Global)

Decision Making Authority:

- Low-Medium

Key Metrics Role Is Accountable For:

- Standard Cost monitoring

- Actual Cost Analysis impact

- Testing & Variance Efficiency

- Query and Discrepancy resolution time

- Proactive Engagement and Collaboration

Key Relationships:

- Business, Commercial, Operations, Product Managers, IT

Travel Requirements:

- As per Business Need

Basic Qualifications:

- Qualified Cost Accountant with min 4-5 years of experience in cost accounting, variance analysis, and standard cost management within a manufacturing environment

- Proficiency in SAP systems and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at various levels.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in TABLEAU & PowerBI with be a plus
