A global Financial Services Firm - with businesses in the area of Credit Card / Auto Loan /Personal and Commercial Banking are looking for Business Analyst from the Top Tier Tech / Engg Schools or Tier 1 B Schools to be part of its internal consulting team. These Business Analyst solve fundamental business problems at scale using advanced analytics, data science and machine learning. The team specialize in deriving valuable insights about various aspects of the business - including product and process design, consumer behavior, regulatory and credit risk, and much more - from large volumes of data to build cutting edge patentable products at an industrial scale. As a Business Analyst, you will work in a fast paced and intellectually rigorous environment. You will apply strategic and analytical skills to major business challenges. You will have the opportunity to learn and build deep expertise in the core areas of advanced analytics, industrial-scale product design and development, data science and machine learning. Key aspects of the role & responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Identifying business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using business, statistical and data analysis to make strategic recommendations 2. Conceptualization and development of world class data products that typically leverage Machine Learning applied on structured and unstructured data 3. Development of frameworks, hypotheses, tests, analysis and options, scoping operational feasibility, leading implementation efforts and developing a monitoring plan 4. Working closely with business leaders across the firm's Business lines Desired Skills and Attributes: 1. Strategic & analytic orientation: A proven track record of data driven decision making and problem solving. Exceptional conceptual thinking skills complemented by rigor and strong quantitative orientation 2. Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity: She/he should be a tenacious problem solver with good judgment and an open-minded approach. One who pushes the envelope but is rooted in ground reality 3. Strong communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communications, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills 4. Clear results orientation: Display an intense focus on achieving both short- and long-term goals. 5. She/he should be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment 6. Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment. Ideally looking for BTechs from IITs / MBA from Tier1 B Schools with current and prior work experience of strategic nature, experience of working with Large Datasets. Industry wise preference would be Financial Services / Fin tech / Banking but is not a constraint.
