- This team covers all products in Trade Finance and Cash Management with a focus on the corporate client base.
- The role supports product sales specialists to focus on key clients, increase the efficiency of client coverage and implement industrialization changes.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Active involvement in RFP process:
- Pre-RFP research;
- Client background research;
- Understanding and mapping client processes;
- Constructing RFP response (preparing proposal);
- Co-ordination with in-country teams to obtain information on client solutions;
- Stakeholder management (both internal and external);
- Follow up on client questions;
- Maintain library of best practice RFPs responses.
- Estimating deal or client wallet size:
- Estimate cash management wallet from client’s financial statements;
- Calculate regional revenue potential for RFP and non-RFP opportunities.
- Preparation for client presentation:
- Prepare customized client presentation slides;
- Work with Product Management to prepare customized regional and domestic solutions;
- Maintain library of latest presentation slides.
- Ownership of unallocated clients
- Investigation of client revenue and exposure;
- Determination of suggestion for onshore owner / off-boarding / up-pricing.
- Deal review oversight
- Ensure all deals are categorized appropriately (standard; elephant; ‘in-between’);
- Verification that standard deals can be handled without customization.
- Ensure ‘in-between’ deals have been appropriately reviewed and approved.
- Work on ad hoc projects
Technical Skills:
- Strong technical and quantitative academic background from a top tier economics or engineering school
- Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills; prior experience with VBA and databases is a plus
