Analyst/Associate - Multi Asset Sales MI & Reporting - Investment Bank

We have the opening with one of the leading investment bank for Multi Asset Sales(MAS) MI & Reporting Analyst/Associate role.

Job Location : Bangalore

Role Purpose

- The role requires a sound understanding of Global Markets and the Macro economy

- Good communication, with strong written and verbal communication skills is paramount

- Effective organizational skills are also crucial to be able to work on multiples tasks simultaneously and have the ability to prioritize work to meet critical deadlines

- Interpersonal skills will also be required to work extensively in an integrated team environment with the onshore team based out of London

Specific responsibilities include

- Organize morning sales calls. Identify new research material on key macro-economic themes and secure internal analysts to present on the topics before market opens.

- Review internal research publications and distribute key themes to our client base.

- Create and maintain macro-economic daily diary for distribution to our client base.

- Support production of marketing material &/or client presentations.

- Maintain and manage client database to ensure appropriate tracking of client information such as contact details, areas of interest, relationship strength, sales coverage person etc.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:

- Overall experience of 3-7 years in investment banking industry

- 1-3 years- experience working as a sales or research analyst or related discipline is a plus

- Bachelors or equivalent University degree in English or Economics is also highly desirable

- Strong understanding of macro-economy, global markets and financial products

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong analytical skills

- Ability to work closely with team members and collaborate with colleagues globally

- Motivated and a quick learner

- Proven ability to prioritize workload effectively in line with business priorities

- Robust track record in dealing with a diverse and international group of stakeholders

- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Bloomberg is also a plus
