Investment Research Analyst Job Title: Associate- Investment Analyst Responsibilities : - Provide investment research support to global asset managers investing in both equity and credit instruments - Initiate/maintain multiple deliverables, such as financial models, screeners, research notes for the companies/industries under coverage - Carry out detailed capital structure and covenant analysis - Prepare earnings summaries, credit outlook, and writeups on investment pros and cons for companies under coverage - Prioritize and execute multiple assignments with tight deadlines - Train junior analysts and review their work - Ensure adherence to high quality standards and industry best practices Skills Required : - Sound experience in credit research (4-5 years) - Exposure to US/European capital markets - Experience in writing reports - Strong excel modelling and analytical skills with attention to detail - Ability to independently execute assignments under tight deadlines - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Team player with professional demeanour Advantageous Skills : - Knowledge of third-party databases such as Bloomberg, CapIQ, Thomson Reuters, etc. Academic Requirements : MBA or equivalent qualification in finance from a reputed institution / CFA
