Analyst/Associate - Investment Advisor

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Desk Research: Analyse global markets across assets (rates, FX, credit, structured and securitized credit, equities, real estate, commodities etc); Event-based research/themes based on client requirement/risk profile. Write-ups on corporates (listed/unlisted).

- Trade Ideas: Come up regularly with trade ideas strategies and investment strategy for clients, based on the knowledge of global macro-economic events and outputs from the analytical tools and client needs

- Portfolio Appraisals: Perform detailed portfolio analysis and provide recommendations on restructuring/rebalancing. Track market movements to see how global events influence client strategies / portfolios

- Pitchbooks: Create Product/Portfolio pitchbooks including ideas, investment philosophy for all asset classes

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

- A post-graduate degree in finance, accounting, business or economics with 0-3 years of experience in the financial markets is what we are looking in the ideal candidate. Due to the nature of the job you should have the following skill sets:

- Strong analytical skills, service commitment, solid organizational & interpersonal skills;

- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, initiative driven and proactive approach, prioritizes multiple tasks, and meets strict deadlines;

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications specially strong Excel skills required

- Strong and verbal and written communication skills
