Analyst/Associate - Global Markets - Quant Strategies - Cash Equities

Position Specifications:

Corporate Title Analyst / Associate

Experience 0 - 6 years

Qualification B.Tech / M.Tech / MSc / Phd

Role & Responsibilities:

Working as a fully integrated member of the global markets quant strategies team, supporting senior team members in designing systematic strategies and writing research publications.

- Gain knowledge of the relevant global financial products and model's developed by firm's Quant Strategies

- Building upon on the existing infrastructure to implement new models as well as maintain the existing infrastructure.

- Answering clients requests, which range from simple data requests to designing and implementing bespoke models

- Work closely with sales, traders and structurer's to enable new trades to be executed.

Key Skills:

Mandatory Desired Domain

- Knowledge and proficiency in a programming language, either Python, Matlab or R, with flexibility to pick up Python

- Experience with large databases / datasets

- Enthusiasm for using technology to solve challenging problems

- Strong Analytical skills

- Basic knowledge of finance, statistics / Machine Learning

- Equities knowledge a plus

- Good written and oral communication skills

- Excellent organisational skills

- Ability to work effectively as part of the team

- Strong work ethics
