Analyst / Associate - Credit Solutions EU - Illiquids - leading global bank

JOB SUMMARY : 

This is for the global platform for a global bank. Credit Solutions EU ( CSEU ) is active in the Illiquid Credit Trading space, Liquid Asset Financing, Credit Exotic Products and Pension and Insurance Risk Management. The team has extensive experience in a wide spectrum of transactions like Illiquid Asset Monetization, ABS Repo Financing and more recently focusing on providing de-risking solutions for derivative positions as well as helping corporates monetize contractual cash flows and other illiquid assets.

Role & Responsibilities: 

- Providing bespoke secured funding against illiquid asset backed securities

- Fundamental credit analysis, cash-flow waterfall modeling of securitized products

- Direct market monitoring & market interaction through pricing exotic bond & debt instruments for risk & collateral purpose

- Modeling of new structured financing transactions and adapting existing models to new regulation / metrics

- Understanding legal covenants, termination triggers and other bespoke conditions for existing trades and providing inputs in documentation of new trades in order to capture risks appropriately

- Assisting with pricing, modeling and ongoing valuation and amendments, as well as liaising with various internal functions, for swaps provided to Corporate Clients, Institutional investors as well as Securitization vehicles. Swap structures vary from vanilla Interest rate swaps to more complex balance guaranteed swaps

- Pricing various swaps to capture and manage various risks (interest rate, cross currency, balance guaranteed, inflation, market risk, credit risk, funding risk, downgrade contingent funding risk, ROE charges, replacement risk, compression risk, gap risk etc)

Technical Skills:

- Preference for candidates with prior experience in swap products, financing products and credit transactions

- Strong educational background, with a preference of knowledge of credit products (IIT background) CFA/FRM is a plus

- Strong Excel skills

- The candidate should be a creative thinker, interested in innovative financial products
