Analyst/Associate - Credit Risk

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Carry-out initial Business and financial review of new counterparties (Mutual funds, Pension funds and Investment Advisors).

2. Conducting written credit analysis and recommend credit rating to senior members for approval

3. Monitor the performance of Counterparties and conduct quarterly/ annual reviews

4. Closely monitor developments related to regulatory, Industry, Counterparty , external ratings and carryout appropriate action

5. Set credit limit, Monitor limit utilization and limit excesses for counterparties in the portfolio

6. Participating in ad-hoc projects e.g. development of score card; preparing credit updates to senior management; external stakeholders etc.

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

1. Professional degree holders from Tier 1 institutes, Excellent written and verbal communication skills

2. Strong analytical and problem solving skills

3. Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to form successful working relationships

4. Ability to work in a team oriented environment

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

6 Knowledge of Mutual Fund Industry, regulation, credit ratings and experience in Credit Risk will be an added advantage
