Analyst/Associate - Capital Market - FMA (1-5 Years) Looking for a professional having strong knowledge of fixed income and capital markets. Building a comprehensive understanding of the applications, systems and infrastructure across the Technology and Administration Solutions line of business 2. Working on the valuation and risk management of portfolios of Structured Finance and other Fixed Income securities 3. Ascertaining the risks underlying distressed and illiquid financial instruments Developing customized models for exotic positions and present the results to Portfolio Managers 4. Liaising with other analysts, developers, and financial modelers in enhancing our proprietary credit models, reporting and analysis 5. Responsibilities include but are not limited to managing / developing the models' feeds, analyzing the data output and suggesting / implementing process improvement 6. Coordinating with the team in India and other abroad offices in analyzing risk analytics data and suggesting modelling changes / improvements Requirements: 1. A bachelor's degree in quantitative area such as Physical Sciences, Engineering, Economics or Mathematics from a reputed institute 2. Prior Experience of 1-5 years in the Banking and Financial Services Industry 3. Advanced Excel skills, experience with VBA and SQL is preferable 4. MBA / FRM / CFA or progress toward a plus 5. Ability to interpret performance metrics on broad Asset-Classes (Fixed Income , Private Equity, Asset Backed Securities, Corp-bonds, Sovereigns, ABS, etc.) and produce specific Market commentary 6. Exposure to Econometric and cashflow modeling of bespoke and illiquid instruments will be a plus 7. Strong quantitative and data interpretation/manipulation skills What's In it for you? 1.
