The job description (for our investment banking client) is as follows: We are one of the first exclusive startup investment banking teams in India (IIM alumni, ex-VCs/ibankers) looking to add a few core team members (across Mumbai and Bengaluru) to its practice in hypergrowth phase. You would get an opportunity to interface with both VC funds and startups directly, participate in startup events and build industry networks along with working on desktop research, pitchdecks and databases. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Build and foster relationships with startups. Leverage existing networks if any. 2. Develop investor relations by organizing/attending conferences, events and webinars. 3. Research databases, prepare presentations, reports and proposals. 4. Basic knowledge of finance is desirable, it is not a pre-requisite. We are looking for smart, driven self-starters who would love to spend more time in meeting new entrepreneurs/investors and understanding new business models/ventures than building financial models in the office.
