Analyst - ABS Strategy - Global Markets - Investment Bank

- Nomura's European ABS team provides clients with a range of service including flow trading liquidity, bespoke solutions, in-depth market analysis, trade ideas, and unrivalled analytics.

- The team in Mumbai works with two counterpart teams in London namely, ABS Flow and ABS Solutions. The team assists the London desks in identifying and valuing bond-specific opportunities in the European ABS market. The Mumbai team also prepares reports/presentations on the various macroeconomic and regulatory themes that impact the market thereby providing an evolution of the desk's views regarding the same.

- This role is to work in the India European ABS Strategy team covering the European ABS market and working with ABS Solutions team.

- Responsibilities in ABS Solutions include creating Nomura proprietary cash flow models for new financing deal, due-diligence of monthly reports on cash flow collections and loan pool analysis on live deals and performance reporting for the same. It would also entail preparation of various macroeconomic reports on particular sector within the Securitization framework for several regions in Europe.

- The requisite skills for the role would include among others strong analytical/modeling skills, ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing), a market-approach to analysis, and ability to work on a wide array of projects from data gathering/maintenance to fixed income bond pricing.

- Familiarity with ABS is preferred, but not required. Some programming skills/capability is strongly preferred.

- Any advancement in CFA levels would be preferred.
