Position : DGM ER & IR (Plant HR) Work Experience : 13+ years Reporting To : AVP- HR Qualification : MBA / MSW - Regular Job Responsibilities : Industrial Relations / Union Management : - Establishing two-way formal as well as informal internal communication channel to bring transparency in industrial relations system and liaising with Labour Department and preparing & executing IR policies / procedures along with implementation of the same - Negotiating and amicably settling issues among the workmen, staff, officers, managers and unions arising due to time office, salary & wage administration matters - Ensuring healthy employee-management relations in the organization, by encouraging workers to voice their opinions on common platforms and promoting employee involvement in improvement activities Code of Conduct : Educating Workmen on management expectation of conduct and behaviour at Shop Floor & done of overall discipline in Factory Discipline : Management of Overall Discipline, Grievance Handling, Counseling etc Investigation : Domestic Inquiries, Strategizing Disciplinary actions etc Legal : Liaison with Legal Advisor, Advocates, Courts & Conciliation Officer Rationalization : Downsizing Workforce - " Terminations, Transfer, VRS etc Wage Settlements : Handled five Long Term Wage Settlements - " Bipartite, Tripartite Welfare : First AID, OHC, Health Insurance, Welfare Schemes, Recreation Programs etc Labour Situations : Handled several difficult situations i.e. Go-slow, Strikes, Closure, Gherao, Agitations, Physical Assaults etc. Union Affairs : Dialogue with Unions and Work Committees on day to day affairs etc Employee Engagement/ Personnel Management : - Initiating and deploying employee engagement interventions; steering need based employee engagement initiatives to drive strategic business objectives - Managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle entailing manpower planning & impact, recruitment & selection, induction & orientation, leave & payroll, exit interviews & Fn Fs and building healthy employee relations across the organization - Formulating manpower plan & strategy, sourcing and recruiting right talent as per business need within TAT and streamlining the campus recruitment process - Conducting and arranging the training programs for employee development on attributes directly impacting development of the organization - Executing the surveys related to compensation & benefit, employees attitude and climate/environment in the organization for assessing the employee motivation & expectation and addressing the grievances to plan remediation - Organizing employee engagements programmes and ensuring prompt resolution of employee grievances & maintaining cordial employee relations Contract Labour : Formulation & Implementation of CLMS, Managing Contract Labour engagement, Monitoring Legal Compliances, faced inquiries for Contract Labour Board for Prohibition under CL(R&A) Act 70 Outsourcing : Security, Transportation, Canteen, Pantry, Communication services Event Management : Organize Corporate Meets, Event Management, Picnics, Gatherings etc
