Key Responsibilities:

- Teaching Excellence: Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Mass Communication courses, fostering a stimulating and engaging learning environment.

- Curriculum Development: Lead the development and enhancement of the Mass Communication curriculum, incorporating industry trends and emerging technologies.

- Research and Publications: Conduct and publish research in reputable journals, contributing to the academic advancements in the field of Mass Communication.

- Faculty Development: Recruit, mentor and evaluate faculty members, promoting professional development. Encourage scholarly activities, research, and publication among faculty.

- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to students, fostering their academic and professional growth.

- Industry Engagement: Establish and maintain connections with industry professionals, facilitating opportunities for students to gain real-world insights and experiences.

- Participation in Academic Committees: Actively participate in departmental and university committees, contributing to decision-making processes and academic governance.

- Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest developments in Mass Communication, attending conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance expertise.

- Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and initiatives, promoting a collaborative and inclusive academic environment.

- Supervision of Student Projects: Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations, guiding them in original research and creative endeavors.

Qualifications:

- Ph.D. / Master and Bachelor of Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field.

- Significant academic and administrative experience at the university level, with a proven track record of leadership.

- Strong understanding of industry trends and the ability to integrate them into academic programs.

- Proven record of research and publications in reputable journals.

- In-depth knowledge of mass communication theories, practices, and emerging trends.
