Key Responsibilities:

Purpose: Create world class products & services deriving insights leverage American Express closed loop data delivering by meeting the business needs of our customers

- Focus on supporting business use cases using data analysis, solution design methods to perform root cause analysis, issue identification and remediation by identifying data trends, data monitoring across platforms and architecture and doing use case-based testing

- Work with stakeholders to identify, specify and document complex user stories (business requirements)

- Review user stories and design specs with technology and product owners (as needed) to ensure requirements are captured accurately and optimally and design proposed by the technology is in line with the business requirements

- Create / document / execute User Acceptance Test cases for new data and product capabilities

- Manage platform and product issues and drive towards a speedy issue resolution

- Lead new product implementations, preparing project plans and other supporting information and providing project status to product owner

- Manage customer expectations including scope, schedule, changes, and problem resolution

- Drive on-time, high quality project deliverables

- Mentor new team member towards product management

- Drive development of tools and automated solutions to increase operational efficiency

Qualification:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or Analytical focus (e.g. Math) and/or Engineering

Skills and Requirements:

- 4+ Years' experience as a Business Systems Analyst /Business Analyst with a Product Mindset

- Demonstrated experience in SDLC including Development & Test Strategy creation

- Expertise in Project Management

- Expertise in Agile Scrum methodology

- Strong Business Acumen & problem-solving skills

- Experience in creation & execution of User Acceptance test cases, specifically in a Big Data/Cloud based environment

- Proficiency in Hive, SQL

- MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

- Rally & JIRA

Preferred:

- Team player with ability in collaborating across Business & Technology Organizations

- Workable experience in any Agile tool for product management such as JIRA/ Rally/ServiceNow

- Knowledge of Big Data/ Hadoop or experience of working in Pyspark/Scala programming is a strong plus

- Working on Couchbase, Postgres on client server architecture

- API development and Testing, Postman and Splunk

- Credit Card Industry Experience, In-depth knowledge of BI Platforms
