Role : Manager - Modeling & Machine Learning
- The incumbent will lead a 2 member team, to develop and deploy decision science solutions, leveraging big data machine learning techniques, to mitigate fraud.
Specific responsibilities include :
- Developing and enhancing statistical models by utilizing the best-in-class machine learning modeling techniques with available data
- Track and monitor the performance of fraud models and conduct reviews
- Evaluating new data sources/new variables for their efficacy in discriminating between fraudulent and genuine transactions based on statistical techniques and business judgment
- Partnering with teams such as Technologies and Governance teams for successful deployment of models and data elements
Qualification :
- 4+ years experience in risk management, with expertise in machine learning techniques
- Masters degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or related fields is strongly desired.
- Strong quantitative skills with demonstrated ability to lead and perform analysis, Strong thought leadership
- Flexibility and adaptability to work within tight deadlines and changing priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
