American Express - Manager - Learning & Development (8-10 yrs)

Job Description :

- New colleague onboarding and early success

- Developing and delivering a comprehensive training curriculum across levels for GCS India - Including Leadership

- Delivering Sales Productivity across all channels

- Curating Pitch decks to shorten the lifespan of deal closure

What you will do :

- Create a certification process and mandate for sales persons (Proprietary & External Face to Face teams) of all channels

- Analyze performance of acquisition/ account development teams on a monthly/ quarterly /annual basis and create dashboards

- Work with acquisition marketing as well as external agencies and set up lead generation for LM and MM Acquisition teams Lead Management : Allotment of leads across team members and management/ monitoring of the conversion of the same

- Monitoring of respective score cards along with sales leaders for respective teams and generation of the same on a monthly/ quarterly basis & recommend appropriate steps to ensure all parameters in the scorecard are met

- Effectively and enthusiastically deliver essential sales training to new recruits and existing team members

- Maintain open lines of communication with leadership in all departments and work across business units to facilitate trainings and refreshers for the new recruits and existing team members

- Support and promote American Express processes, procedures and culture

- Grow awareness and drive adoption of critical business tools and processes including training, tracking and effectively driving SFDC usage

- Enable a consultative growth oriented sales and account management organization

- Develop new content and update existing training modules as necessary, ensuring compliance with best practices

- Partner with marketing and product on script development for telesales teams

- Proactively identify knowledge gaps through analyzing sales performance on a monthly/quarterly basis and conducting ongoing knowledge assessment tests to assess user needs

- Responsible for the design, implementation, evaluation, and ongoing maintenance of classroom and alternative training solutions.

- Utilize a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools and practices to ensure maximum learning effectiveness

- Creates high-quality online and paper-based materials including slides, participant guides, instructor guides and assessments

- Keeps apprised of all changes in process, scripts, and guidelines to ensure new and existing materials are in-line and up-to-date with operational challenges, systems, and products

- Conduct Leadership Behavior activation trainings and team building activities to drive collaboration

- Makes recommendations to continuously improve internal processes, standards, and training solutions

- Responsible for the enrollment, tracking and reporting process for each class

- Enable a consultative growth oriented sales and account management organization

- Conduct Role Play/Objection Handling scenarios

- Help build a learning culture vs. a training culture - Share best practices and product differentiators on an ongoing basis with teams

- Support strategic solution selling with focused efforts around key Categories (T&E) & products like Corporate Membership Rewards, Platinum Cards, Airline Co Brand, @work etc

- Partner with Product & Marketing teams for new product launches, content development for new product Trainings, creation of VPP decks

- Partner with Regional Teams for Online Tools & Capabilities Launches

- One on one coaching and mentoring support

- Conduct team specific T & E need assessment / solution presentation Trainings

Qualifications :

What we are seeking :

- Graduate with 8 to 10 years work experience, MBA Preferred

- Financial services experience a must (Banking, Collections, Mortgage, Debt, etc)

- Experience with design and development of training materials or background in education, classroom delivery or training field is preferred

- Ability to manage multiple projects within strict timelines while paying attention to details and performing tasks accurately

- Excellent communicator, utilizing stellar verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

- Outstanding presentation skills and the ability to use multimedia effectively in a presentation or through online delivery

- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments.

- Technical savvy; experience with MS Office PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Google Suite of applications and ability to master other various software programs and databases is required

- Knowledge of regulations and requirements of the Financial Industry
