This is the position for a Manager - Credit Bust-Out/Credit Abuse is essentially Fraud being committed by a Genuine Card Member. Such acts are not limited to individuals but often involve criminal rings / networks working in tandem to abuse the system. The nature of the problem is such that it has characteristics of both Fraud and Credit. As a result, the Credit Bust-Out/Credit abuse team leverages techniques and information from both Fraud and Customer Management.
The successful candidate will lead a team of analysts focused on CBO / Credit Abuse Decision Science. This role involves designing, developing, deploying and monitoring of strategies and rules based business solutions to minimize Losses while ensuring superior customer experience.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Identify emerging trends/potential threats like synthetic identity, high risk pattern at aggregators through case reviews / MIS and quickly develop and deploy business logic for the same
- Design CBO Solutions for new emerging products and lead the team to the End-To-End development of the controls i.e. from conceptualization to implementation. The candidate would be required to partner within and across teams to understand the business problem and device the best solution.
- Partner with technology team to implement solutions and business logic in time
- Partner with CBO Operation team to improve setup quality and enhance customer experience
Qualification
- At least 4 years- experience in the fraud or credit risk management field
Track record of driving results with strong thought leadership and problem solving skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work within tight deadlines and changing priorities
- Ability to influence others, be creative and manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Masters or PhD degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or related fields is strongly desired
- Experience in SAS, SQL, Cornerstone is strongly desired
