American Express - Manager - Advanced Analytics - IIM/IIT/XLRI/NITIE/MDI/FMS

This role will support the business analysis needs of the organisation to help drive the strategic and financial priorities. This will be achieved through working with the Risk team to articulate the key business problems and partnering with the marketing and finance teams to help develop recommendations/solutions to address the specific issues.

Understand business/prospect profile through in-depth case studies and drawing out implications for customer value proposition and targeting.

Acquire in-depth subject matter expertise of different products. Building relationship with the acquisition leadership team to understand the business priorities and identify/articulate specific analytical projects/engagements to help achieve the same.

End to end ownership of profitable business growth, responsibilities would include but not limited to - targeting strategy, campaign execution, test design, case studies, adhoc analysis, MIS & appropriate adoption in Big Data techniques.

Provide effective leadership to the team in terms of guidance on conceptual thinking; oversee technical execution aspects and fostering the team's development

Qualification

- Post Graduate/Masters Degree In Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering Or related fields from tier 1 premium institutes only (IIM, IIT, DSE, XLRI, NITIE,MDI,FMS etc)

- Strong background in next generation technologies, big data & machine learning

- Proficient in SAS programming/SQL, knowledge of hadoop architecture & analytical tools (PIG/Hive, Random forest, etc)

- Prior business/financial analysis experience in financial services, particularly card/payments industry.

- Strong analytical/conceptual thinking acumen to solve unstructured and complex business problems and articulate key findings to senior leaders/stakeholders in a succinct and concise manner.

- Proven ability to successfully persuade and influence key stakeholders in a matrix environment.

- Manage several concurrent projects through collaboration across teams/geographies. Openness to learning new techniques/ideas and trying innovative solutions
