- The listed job is an exciting opportunity for supporting the Global Product Development & Operational Excellence organization and be a part of the Marketing Analytics - journey at DS&I.
- The Director of the Commercial Marketing Analytics team will be responsible for managing a team which partners closely with the regional Marketing teams and larger Commercial organization to support implementation of marketing strategies to influence customer behavior for increased engagement/loyalty. The Director will be responsible for a high performing 20+ person team focused on driving value-add analytics through Marketing initiatives to facilitate well-informed and effective decision making process across commercial organization.
- As a member of the DS&I India leadership team, this individual will also help to drive strategic direction of the organization and partner with colleagues across verticals.
Key Responsibilities include :
- Designing Acquisition Marketing reporting across Commercial to identify the contribution of Marketing to over sales organization in Commercial
- Managing Reporting for Customer Marketing teams in US Commercial Designing campaign effectiveness and measurement reporting to analysis the benefits
- Lead the reporting for COMET (digital strategy for CRM) to measure the impact of integrated, personalized and orchestrated marketing
- Leading the implementation of digital analytics and reporting for Global Marketing
- Create rule book to clearly define marketing contribution across customer life cycle and avoid overlaps with field
- Design and deliver consistent and insightful reporting solutions for Senior Leadership in Marketing Organization
- Partner with DS&I teams in developing, enhancing and measuring marketing triggers
- Lead updates & deep dives for Senior Leadership in Global Marketing
- Partner closely with Investment optimization team in Global Marketing to track metrics for 2017
- Design (in partnership with Marketing VP's ), implement and track scorecards for Marketing Organization
- Defining the reporting requirements for key strategic initiatives for business growth
- Managing relationship across different business units in American Express DS&I, GIM, GMS etc.) to create E2E solution for Marketing teams
- Driving thought leadership on multiple projects in partnership with verticals across Commercial and implementing impact strategy to support growth through marketing
- Creating growth opportunities for commercial with innovative and breakthrough analytical thinking

Qualifications :
- Strong commercial and analytical acumen and an ability to assess complex and diverse information to drive business performance outcomes.
- Proven ability to attract, develop and lead a high performing and engaged team
- Strong relationship management and team orientation; ability to lead and influence others in a cross-functional environment
- Strong understanding of Marketing Landscape in financial organization
- Strategic thinker who can partner with key stakeholders to drive the direction of the business
- Knowledge of analytical, big data tools like SAS, VBA, Tableau, R
- Superior communication skills with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to deliver results in a fast paced and highly matrixed environment
- Ability to make complex prioritization trade-offs and tactical decisions using sound business judgment, analytical and reasoning skills
- Ability to manage multiple and complex work streams and work across departmental boundaries and deliver a diverse set of initiatives that result in transformational outcomes
- A passion for innovation with demonstrated ability to drive capabilities innovation and resultant business growth; experience in applying existing and emerging technologies to deliver against customer goals
- Self-starter with ability to solve ambiguous/ open ended business challenges
- Hand on leader with ability to convert details into strategic insights
- 10-12 years of relevant work experience and preferably a Master's Degree or equivalent
