Job Description :&nbsp; This is a Band 40 Role: The Customer Marketing Analytics &amp; Data Science (CMADS) Team within the Enterprise Digital &amp; Analytics (EDA) organization is responsible for developing, innovating and integrating information driven marketing analytics and capabilities. - Director - Global Merchant Recommender, will be leading a team that is responsible for the enhancement of Global Merchant recommender capabilities across US &amp; Int- l markets for the existing customer portfolio by leveraging closed loop and other internal/external data to make recommendations more intelligent and relevant. Additionally, the incumbent will lead the development of Global feature and signal processing capabilities to improve personalization. - The incumbent will lead and drive many high business impact initiatives by having a solid understanding of business priorities, aligning those with the team's focus areas and providing overall guidance and leadership in driving their execution. The successful candidate is required to work closely with various partners and stakeholders in many different parts of the organization including Product Development, Enterprise Digital Member Experience, technologies, and local marketing teams. - The role requires a strong analytical focus and the successful candidate is expected to exhibit a high level of expertise in understanding data, drawing meaningful insights and guiding strategy. Candidate is expected to have a strong focus on Innovation while developing newer and better approaches using big data &amp; machine learning solutions. Key responsibilities include: 1. Ongoing enhancements to current Merchant Recommender capabilities and expanding coverage into newer channels &amp; Placements 2. Developing Global features for personalization capabilities 3. Developing signal processing capabilities (Commerce Graph, real time signals- ) 4. Development of analytical infrastructure to improve customer marketing 5. End to end monitoring and measurement of capability performance Qualifications: - Masters or Ph.D degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or related fields is strongly desired. - Strong Analytical, Relationship and project management skills - Experience in applying advanced machine learning &amp; deep learning techniques to solve business problems is preferred. - Good Verbal, Written, Interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Willingness to Collaborate with Cross-Functional teams to drive Project Execution. - Effectively communicate complex algorithms &amp; capabilities to Business Partners and Senior Management. - Flexibility and Adaptability to Work Within tight deadlines and changing priorities. - Desire to innovate and work on challenging projects with a fun and cohesive team Qualifications: - 10+ years post qualification experience.
