This is a Director position in Controllership function, reporting to the Vice President-Controller.

The position is responsible for :

- Managing key business processes and reporting on business performance related to the AXP/Segment Balance Sheet, Entity submissions & consolidation and Chart of Accounts governance

- Leading a large team of professionally qualified individuals

- Supervise the preparation of financial results, including reporting review material to senior management

- Compiling FAB (Finance Analysis Book) slides for senior leadership review and analyzing period over period variances for AXP/Segment Balance Sheet

- Work on global/regional projects which would involve working across finance leadership and coordinating with multiple business partners

- Support new business initiatives by carrying out ad-hoc analysis and enable accurate reporting, post new business initiatives.

- Lead/support assigned global/regional initiatives from Reporting perspective and provides leadership to all concerned resources.

- This position will be required to support various Balance Sheet Reporting initiatives undertaken by the management from time to time and accordingly, the job role may undergo a change, to align with those initiatives

- Identifying linkages with overall business objectives and Controllership big bet projects and drive change

- Proactive engagement with all stakeholders and customers maintaining clear roles and responsibilities

- Analyzing industry trends, statistics, bench marking, leveraging best practices

- Delivering superior employee engagement. Developing and retaining talent

This role may be subject to additional background verification checks.

Specific educational & other requirements include :

- A CA / CPA / MBA with a minimum of 10+ years experience or a B.Com with a minimum of 14 years experience

- Understanding of Oracle applications, including General Ledger, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools including OBIEE, HFR is desirable

- Understanding of the Financial Statement Close process would be an added advantage

- Excellent Project Management skills and ability to drive execution and optimize resources
