Director-Card Acquisition, South India (Bangalore & Hyderabad)  Locations: Bangalore, India  Job Description :   - The position is responsible for leading the Consumer Card Sales team in Southern India in the defined markets of Karnataka, Telengana & Seemandhra   - This position will report to the VP Acquisition   - This role will be responsible for the development of sound regional and local market sales strategy which caters for optimum penetration in desired segments in line with the national Sales Strategy.   Other responsibilities include :   - Developing a robust, diligent and compliant business strategy,   - Working within sales structure and product to develop scalable channels and optimize productivity through product/channel mix   - Maximizing product profitability and Position the bank to achieve long term growth and attain market leadership.   - Develop & implement business strategies to achieve sales and profitability objectives.   - Developing a competitive S&D strategy combined with appropriate pricing and service to ensure leadership in the market.   - Leveraging on the Bank's relationship and co brand networks and its extensive corporate card relationships.   - Ensuring an equitable distribution of business across channels and segments so as to reduce concentration risk.   - Opening new segments & geographies.   - Develop and manage strategic alliances   - Proactively explore niche segments, identifying strategic partners in retail/financial services industry   - Optimize sourcing mix to focus on profitable segments, Lowering delinquency/write-offs and losses arising from fraud, Higher cross-sell (add-ons, SI, insurance)   - Controlling/lowering cost of acquisition   - Improving process efficiency e.g. reduction in discrepancies   - Develop a profitable sourcing model using Direct Sales Force   - Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders   - Work collaboratively with support functions such as risk, compliance, marketing and finance to ensure smooth functioning of the business.   - Motivate, inspire and train area card & personal sales staff.   Key Attributes :   - Overall this role will help develop and execute strategies for increasing sales effectiveness by developing the product knowledge and selling skills of the team and creating a team spirit within the sales organization, focused on developing collaborative relationship across business functions.   - Collaborate with Marketing and new Product Development in developing and executing best-in-class selling propositions.   - Build a talented organization that achieves results by finding, developing and retaining a highly talented and motivated sales workforce.  - Lives and instills in team members the Blue Box Values, including personal accountability and the will to win.  - Align with global and local sales effectiveness to develop continuous improvement training schedules to increase scorecard effectiveness across all sales teams.   Qualifications :   Required Qualifications :   - 10 yrs + of proven track record in sales in the FMCG / Financial sector, MBA preferred   - Demonstrated success in Sales and Sales strategy roles.   - Demonstrated experience in leading large teams across multiple locations   - Exceptional ability to think strategically, challenging the status quo to deliver innovative resulting in a competitive advantage and commercial performance   - Superior analytical skills required; demonstrated ability to synthesize data into winning strategies and executable plans.
