Don't live life without it.<br><br>Function Description :<div><p><br></p>- Customer 360 team is part of the steeply growing, fast-paced &amp; innovative team Enterprise Digital Analytics (EDA) group within American Express. EDA is the analytical engine for American Express that is instrumental in accelerating growth momentum, increasing profitability and powering up our value proposition.<br><br>Purpose of the Role :<br><br><div><p>- This role is an integral part of C360 data science team which is responsible to help build foundational data capabilities to be used across enterprise by enabling development of new algorithms leveraging machine learning techniques.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>- The team applies rigorous, solution-oriented analysis including periodic case reviews to help Business Units serve their customers better by enabling more effective customer identification and hence enhanced customer engagement.</p><br>Responsibilities :</div><div><p><br></p>-   Play pivotal role to develop new insights solutions for Customer 360<br><br></div><div>-   Bolster the impact of advanced algorithms and big data capabilities<br><p><br></p><p>-   Improve customer matching globally, enrich data and Improve accuracy in leveraging advanced algorithms to drive Amex economics in various areas -   new accounts acquisition, credit &amp; collections and marketing</p><div><br></div><p>-   Generate best demographic information for customers-individuals or businesses</p><div><br></div><p>-   Utilize broad set of analytical tools/techniques for data mining, data cleansing, data extraction, analysis &amp; transformation, data interpretation &amp; insights, turn-key bundled analytic &amp; reporting solutions</p><div><br></div><p>-   Work on various In house reporting tools to pull standard &amp; custom reports</p><div><br></div><p>-   Identify and recommend process improvements based on results of analytics work </p><div><br></div><p>-   Enhancing the data analytical and capabilities infrastructure</p><br>Critical Factors to Success :<br><br></div><div><p>- The incumbent will perform data analysis, modeling, synthesize conclusions, communicate and present recommendations to partners.</p><p><br></p><p>- The position is part of a highly collaborative environment, interacting with and influencing partners across Customer 360 global team</p><br>Qualifications :</div><div><p><br></p>- Past Experience : 1.5 to 2 years<br><br>Academic Background :<br><br></div><div><p>- Master's degree in quantitative discipline (e.g. Statistics, Math, or Economics / MBA) and/or Engineering</p><br>Functional Skills/Capabilities :<br><br></div><div><p>-   Effective written and verbal communication with partners located globally</p><div><br></div><p>-   Hands on exposure to Statistical Analysis (Forecasting, Modeling, Optimization techniques)</p><div><br></div><p>-   Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with minimal supervision</p><div><br></div><p>-   Strong ability to formulate and communicate strategies in a clear, compelling way </p><div><br></div><p>-   Exceptional strategic and analytical thinking</p><br>Technical Skills/Capabilities :<br><br></div><div><p>- Knowledge of one programming language (SAS, SQL, Python or R) is mandatory</p><br>Knowledge of Platforms :<br><br></div><div><p>-   1+ year experience of hive coding in a business environment is a plus</p><br>Behavioral Skills/Capabilities :<br><br></div><div><p>-   Ability to solve and execute unstructured business problems</p><div><br></div><p>-   Should be comfortable with flexible shift timings </p><br>The Apply Button will redirect you to website.
