Amber Group - General Manager/Group Head - Sourcing & Purchase

GM- Group Sourcing & Purchase Head (For Air Condition Manufacturing Unit)

- Leading and managing the overall sourcing activities for assigned category/project ensuring optimized TCO (price, quality, logistics, manufacturing), investments, RFP/RFI/RFQ's, negotiation in line with overall sourcing strategy

- Sourcing for all 22 Plants all different location.

- Setting up robust sourcing process.

- Managing end-to-end procurement activities from tendering, bidding to implementation of projects

- Developing and constantly evaluating effective supply chain across product line to drive competitive advantage with respect to evolving trend & opportunity in terms of Quality, Cost, Technology, Delivery & Service Levels

- Cost management on account of Commodity Price, Forex, Energy and inflation in line with targets submitting reports to Management.

- Driving annual productivity improvements in each spend category to achieve bottom line objectives & productivity targets

- Leading & monitoring the performance of the team members to ensure efficiency in process operations and meeting of individual & group targets
