Ambak is simplifying a $160 Bn+ home finance market in India, by connecting lenders to customers and partners who need them. We are building unique end to end workflows, real time decisioning algorithms and a state of the art B2C experience in the offline world. Something that has never been done before.
Our founding team have exited leadership roles in disruptive fintech and insurtech companies to build Ambak. The likes of Policybazaar, Cardekho, Axis Bank, Freecharge, Yes Bank, Zest Money, HDFC Life and we are backed by leading Tier 1 VCs.

Roles & Responsibilities
There are 5 pillars to our BD function here at Ambak. You can play an overall role, or a specific role based on your fit and preference. We intend for our BD heads to be future business heads at Ambak.
Financier Relations: You are the face of Ambak for financiers. You spend a lot of time travelling, visiting financiers across the country and building a rapport
Financier Onboarding: There are 150 + housing finance lenders in India, you will work closely with the founders to understand our expansion strategy and onboard the most relevant ones
Technology Integrations: Our workflows are unique and technology enabled. You will understand them and the benefits for financiers. You will then work with the platform, digital or technology teams at the banks to integrate APIs, launch portals and ensure we are always updated
Operational Excellence: You will work closely with internal operations teams, to understand core challenges and where SLAs with financiers are not being met. You will then work with the financiers to ensure there is alignment
Revenue & Collections: Manage schemes, commissions, collections and the intricacies of central / regional dynamics to ensure a smoother process
Requirements
We are looking for passionate builders and hustlers to help us build something special. We're looking for outstanding people who have consistently hit targets and thrive in taking full ownership. You'll be an articulate presenter and a strategic planner but above all, dynamic and goal-oriented.
- Experience: 1-5 years, preferably with a BFSI / Fintech / B2B Sales background
- Ability to drive high value conversations in person, over the phone and on email
- Ability to work with multiple internal stakeholders to understand the need
- Ability to process data and draw inferences
- Demonstrable experience around process management & target delivery
- This one is a must have, punctual and professional.
If you have worked for a home finance company, or for a fintech company dealing with home finance companies, or even with any organisation dealing in the secured lending space - it's a good to have.
