Social Media Community Manager  The Amazon India marketing team is a group within Amazon India dedicated to marketing Amazon products and services to Indian consumers. Currently, we are seeking a social media community manager who will be a part of the social media marketing team and create a thriving community of brand influencers across our various social properties.  About the Role:   Community manager Amazon in India is a rapidly growing business and social media is an important means of driving brand awareness and engaging with our customers. The Social Media community manager will be responsible for managing social presence and creating lively, engaged communities across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, YouTube, etc.   Principal responsibilities -   - Actively collaborate with the Marketing, PR & Category management teams to strategize and implement innovative social media campaigns that dovetail into the overall marketing plan  - Design and execute social media specific campaigns that help build brand awareness and support marketing activities like brand campaigns, press releases, Social Media Chats and contests etc.  - Manage day-to-day operations including conceptualizing the social content calendar, coordinating with the creative team, writing editorial copy, planning promotions & contests, etc.   - Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results  - Monitor social media trends, conceptualize and analyze social metrics and channel these to build out quarterly and annual plans  - Explore upcoming social networks and creative use of current properties  - Lead the blog initiative   The ideal candidate will exhibit strong written and communication skills, ability to think innovatively, strong analytical as well as entrepreneurial skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative climate and a keen eye to adapt to the ever-evolving world of social media.  Basic Qualifications:  - 3+ years of experience in online marketing  - Familiarity with various social networks and social media marketing  - Knowledge of the blogging ecosystem  - Strong written and verbal communication skills  - Ability to conceptualize innovative & clutter-breaking social ideas, and convert these ideas to implementable campaigns in a fast-paced environment  - Strong analytical skills & ability to interpret large amounts of data  - Ability to establish credibility and work with business and technical owners  - Bachelor’s degree from a reputed institute  Preferred Qualifications:  - In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and an active presence on them  - A passion for the written word and a strong eye for creative detail  - Experience in community management for reputed brands by employment with a brand or agency  - Strong verbal and written communications skills  - Ability to take full ownership of areas of responsibility, and proactively conceptualize campaigns, not merely respond to requests and take direction  - Strong bias for action, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and exceptional attention to detail  - Ability to capture, measure, and interpret relevant data and take appropriate action as a result  - MBA from a reputed organization
