Sr. Program Manager, IDQ - Job Description - Amazon Marketplace is now in UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. We are growing fast, with customers across all 27 European states. Amazon's platform is the engine that powers Amazon's Marketplace businesses, and Sellers rely on this platform and our support to start selling on Amazon and to grow their business. While constantly ingesting new selection, we also strive to continuously improve the quality of existing catalog created by Amazon Sellers by identifying defects and fixing them using automated technology solutions. - Here you will have an enormous opportunity to work with multiple teams to analyze and solve IDQ defects that impact shopping and discovery experience for our European customers. This role presents a unique opportunity to discover and implement robust and machine assisted solutions for fixing catalogue quality defects at scale. This job requires you to hit the ground running and your ability to learn quickly and work on disparate and overlapping tasks will define your success. The role encompasses leading and working with multiple teams across multiple products and platforms, engineering development support, and business decision making support. A commitment to team work, hustle, and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are absolute requirements. Key Job Functions: - Act as a thought leader and strategist capable of influencing associates, senior leaders, and partners to drive positive change - Own stakeholder communication which includes proposing, driving creation of and managing metrics and analyses that will help manage the business - Streamlines operations right from scoping/prioritizing the right defects to building and locking Ops program goals before executing - Measure and analyze existing services for opportunities to improve the customer experience and reduce costs - Build strong internal relationships across Amazon. Influence internal teams to deliver the right results for the business by closely collaborating with technology teams to drive impact Basic Qualifications: - 8+ years in program/product management, retail/e-commerce; Bachelor's degree - Substantial experience in successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment; Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results; Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen (strong bias for action and thinking big) - Proven analytical and quantitative skills (includes ability to use tools such as Excel and Access); ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and feature concepts - Strong leader with excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully with and influence all levels across Amazon - Experience in people management including developing/mentoring people - Should have worked closely with technical teams to chart the overall solution and execution Preferred qualifications MBA preferred - Working knowledge of SQL is also required - Technical background and or/experience owning shared goals with technology teams - Past experience with digital technologies, media, and e-commerce is preferred, but not required Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
