We- re making history and the good news is that we- ve only just begun.  Summary of Responsibilities  - Manage controllership of the businesses and be able to support the business teams with detailed or high level view according to specified need.  - Compile and review financial results and communicate results to company leaders.   - Monthly book closure as per internal timelines and in accordance with GAAP; ensuring accuracy of provisions and accruals.  - Ensure that right processes and controls are set and adhered to around financial reporting  - Financial Planning (roll up planning data for reporting/ presentations/ narratives, provide financial plan for business costs center during the estimate process, liaise with Central teams)  - Partner with Operations leadership team to Identifies cost-saving measures and models to drive maximum productivity.  Basic Qualifications:  - Graduate with MBA in Finance and or a finance degree.  - 7+ years relevant experience in positions that require analysis, financial reporting or operations finance exposure  - Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads; understanding of finance issues in an operational environment of rapid growth and attention to detail.  - Expertise with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles  - Fluency in standard software including Excel, Access, Cognos, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills a plus  - Proven ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment  - Fluency in English & authorization to work in India. Excellent written and oral communication skills.  - Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable items; strong analytical skills  Preferred Qualifications:  - Management experience with demonstrated leadership skills with proven ability to take on new assignments  - Required advanced proficiency in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)  - SQL skills preferred.  - Strong financial experience acumen including delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis  - Solid demonstrated problem solving and root cause analysis experience  - Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense; proven ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions  - Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital  Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
