Sales Excellence Manager - Post launch

- Amazon Global Selling is looking for a Sales Excellence Manager as part of the Global Selling (Exports) who will be responsible for driving post-launch initiatives that drive new seller success and help sellers accelerate their growth. Ideal candidate has designed inventive solutions to improve sales productivity through a set of programs and an expert in carrying on data based deep dive analysis.

Amazon Global Selling is an important initiative to grow the Amazon Marketplace Seller Business around the world, with the India team focusing on helping Indian sellers list on other Amazon global marketplaces.

- As the Sales Excellence Manager you will be responsible for driving initiatives which help new sellers scale faster and accelerate their growth. In this strategic role, you will lead the effort to improve productivity by reducing cold start challenges faced by new sellers and identify growth levers for seller success. You will work on initiatives to improve internal processes and partner with relevant sales, product,BI teams to identify solutions; and driving creation of quality and process change initiatives.

- Successful candidates will have excellent problem solving abilities and the creativity to spot and action new opportunities. They will need to prioritize effectively across multiple areas and communicate clearly at all levels.

Key job responsibilities :

- Evaluate seller lifecycle post launch to identify gaps/friction for early seller success and seller scalability post cold start challenges. Identify initiatives and drive them at scale to enable seller success.

- Early seller success: Analyze business trends and post launch processes to identify growth opportunities which can be driven programmatically

- Seller growth: Identify growth levers to deliver consistent output across teams and sellers by reducing variability through automation, defect reduction and process improvement.

- Translate stakeholder pain points into executable feature requests for the product team. Benchmark with other geographies to identify best practices

- Partner with stakeholders from business, BI, product, etc to analyse business trends, conduct structured deep dives in order to identify actionable insights to drive seller growth.

- Implement and build scalable solution/mechanisms to monitor progress and drive adoption.

Basic qualifications :

- 3 + years of sales experience

- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers.


- 4-6 years of professional experience including in sales/ programme management, and/or business consulting - Outstanding analytical skills.

- Advanced working knowledge of data mining using SQL, ETL, data warehouse as well as Excel

- Ability to think strategically and creatively whilst also executing operationally with high attention to detail and operational excellence

- Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve ambiguous and highly complex problems, thrive with partial information, manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, manage trade-offs and evaluate new opportunities.

- Superior verbal and written communication in English.

- Ability to write succinct and compelling written business proposals and recommendations for leadership

- Strong ability to influence and drive alignment among a diverse set of stakeholders and teams.
