Program Manager - GTM - Sponsored Ads
- Advertising is a strategic bet for Amazon and is one of the fastest growing business units within Amazon India. We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented, analytical, and highly-motivated Program Manager to help scale Sponsored Ads in Amazon.in. Sponsored Ads is our flagship performance ads product and the backbone of our Advertising business. We are further strengthening our offering by continuously building ad offerings, better features in existing offerings, improving targeting capabilities and shopper engagement.
- As a program GTM manager, this person will be responsible for maximizing revenue yield and adoption for our ad products. This would require deep dive into data to understand opportunities and areas of improvement, be customer obsessed to innovate and solve for our advertisers and be able to strategize on.
Responsibilities:
- Maximizing adoption of ad products by owning programs across activation, attrition and re-activation
- Maximizing ad revenue of ad products by owning product yield metrics, finding gaps in current product, supply and sourcing
- Creating processes, systems and tools that can improve advertiser experience
- Working with product and sales team to meet adoption and revenue goals
- Educating advertisers on using ad products through structured educational mechanisms and right investment in content and marketing channels.
- Periodically monitoring and reviewing performance and taking corrective actions
- Deriving insights from data and put them into action (by working with key stakeholders)
Basic qualifications:
- MBA
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing, product strategy, program management, growth marketing or similar roles
- 2+ years of experience in product and Go-To-Market analytics
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in e-commerce or online advertising
- Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives and large-scale change management
- Experience designing/implementing product and business Go-to-Market strategies
- Experience in digital advertisement strategy (i.e., agency or industry) and a passion for connecting formats, audiences, and channels through data
