Principal Program Manager

The Amazon India Consumer Tech team owns engineering for the entire customer journey on Amazon India, from traffic generation through customer engagement, discovery, conversion, payments and delivery experience. Our team owns designing, developing and operating India-first products that address the needs of our customers in India. While our products are India-first, they are built for global use and leveraged across Amazon's international businesses.

With hundreds of millions of customers coming online for the first time, the mission of this team is to transform the way Indian customers shop. We are solving unique India-first challenges across mobile, digital payments, search/relevance, fraud/risk management, logistics, advertising and more. We have an exciting charter and are innovating at scale for India.

As a Principal Program Manager on the Amazon India Consumer Tech team, you will lead a transformational engineering program that will have a deep impact on team organization, architecture and our tech team capability. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS As a Principal Program Manager, you would have -

15+ years in program management in technology companies

Proven leadership driving large scale programs in a matrix organization in product engineering organizations.

Metrics focused leader, with the ability to dive deep into details

Negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, leadership skills essential to successful program/project management

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proven results-oriented person with a focus on delivery

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience in e-commerce/large enterprise/internet companies with similar scale.
