External Job Description :   Amazon is seeking an experienced Manager, based in Bangalore, India, to join a special project team that is established in the US and expanding worldwide. This team is responsible for creating and growing an innovative new project that will inform larger company strategic decisions.  This leader will be an entrepreneur who can help us build the project and team in India and they must operate well in a start-up environment where all team members support daily tasks, decision making, and new innovation. They will drive tactical and strategic success with their passion for learning new things and entrepreneurial spirit. They will have the opportunity to learn our Seller Services and Retail business and will be expected to contribute and inform the future state strategic initiatives for the larger worldwide Special Projects team.   This role will be a good fit if you :  - Are a self-starter that thrives on building new businesses in the eCommerce space  - Have a willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager/ owner mentality  Key Job Responsibilities :   - Ownership of project from end-to-end in India including creating project foundation, financials, processes, and all key decision making  - Develop and manage complex business processes  - Continuously innovate and improve processes, driving down costs  - Collaborate with global peers to expand capabilities internationally  - Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure project output is leveraged to its full extent  - Scale team to grow the special project and support larger business needs  - Navigate internal teams and work with diverse cross-functional groups, including business teams, finance, sales, technology, support, fulfillment, and supply chain  Basic Qualifications :   - Bachelor's degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, E Commerce or related field  - 6+ years of relevant professional experience  - Experienced entrepreneur or start-up experience  - Experienced manager who can lead teams to success  Preferred Qualifications :   - Self-starter that possesses flexibility and hands-on approach to work in a fast-changing, start-up environment and ambiguous situations  - A passion for customer experience and seller experience combined with business curiosity and a strategic viewpoint  - Experience with retail, retail operations  - Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment when working in stressful situations  - Strong sense of urgency and personal commitment  - Strong interpersonal skills - including written and oral communication skills  - Able to work with business partners in understanding the business requirements and implementing solutions   - Able to leverage data to drive decision making  - Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager/ owner mentality
